How We Get There
The Near North Trail Association Strategic Plan 2023 provides a roadmap to help guide the organization in achieving sustainable growth over the next five years. The Strategic Plan was developed through a grassroots approach that included engagement with key stakeholders and community partners. We continue to develop and promote safe Ontario snowmobiling in support of active living, tourism, strong communities, and economic sustainability.
Where We Operate
The Near North Trail Association operates it’s snowmobile trail network on the traditional, unceded territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation. The Algonquin Peole have inhabited and cared for these lands long before today. We take this time to show our gratitude and respect to them, and to the land for all that it provides us. We embrace the responsibility to help ensure that the next generations of land stewards are respectful and grateful for the bounty of this land on which we all live, work, and play.
