Job Title: Marketing & Business Administration Support (6-8 week contract)
Wage: $18-20 per hour, based on experience
Start date: July 5th, 2022
Location: District Office- 176 Lakeshore Drive, Suite 10F, North Bay, ON, P1A 2A8
Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week

The Near North Trails Association is a volunteer lead non-profit organization managing the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club’s trails in OFSC District 11. The NNTA covers the trails from the southerly boundary in Kearney, North to Martin River and from Mattawa to the French River in the East to West. The Association is comprised of 10 local snowmobile clubs and boasts a fleet of 22 industrial trail groomers. Our hard working volunteers work year round to bring area sledders safe, smooth trails to ride each winter. The passion, dedication and drive of our team are why District 11 is known as a premier destination for snowmobiling in Ontario. The NNTA is refocusing, prioritizing, and evaluating changes to the industry and business climate post pandemic and looking for the right individual to support the District Manager in this process ahead of the 2022-23 snowmobile season. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and could lead to an ongoing part time role.
Who are you?
You are a self driven, motivated and reliable individual with an interest in power sports or the willingness to learn. You have strong technical skills and are proficient using various computer programs and tools. Ideally, you have experience with strategic planning and managing organizational change. You have knack for creative marketing and know how to utilize social media and web based media to drive traffic. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be an energetic team player, with the ability to work independently, who can manage priorities and think outside the box to find creative solutions.
Responsibilities
Assist with the creation of a 3 year strategic plan, liase with external consultant and district executive
Data entry of landowner agreements and District infrastructure to online tools
Assist with website redevelopment, content creation, rebranding, development of marketing materials
Trail Guide advertising sales and preparation
Office administration support as required

- Bonus: familiarity with Quickbooks, financial skills/bookkeeping background
